Hi! I’m Jay, an English teacher from California, USA, with nearly 8 years of experience teaching both kids and adults around the world. I’ve worked with learners of all ages and levels, helping them feel more confident using English in their daily lives.
I speak Spanish fluently and I’m currently learning Chinese, so I understand how challenging — and rewarding — it is to learn a new language. Outside of teaching, I love learning about different cultures and helping people reach their language goals.我的教學經歷
My teaching style is relaxed, patient, and supportive. I create a calm, comfortable environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow. I don’t rush — I listen carefully and adapt to each student’s needs.
I’ve taught English online and in-person for nearly 8 years, and I specialize in helping students develop natural, confident speaking skills. Whether you're shy or talkative, beginner or advanced, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you at your pace.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are focused on real-life communication. I specialize in:
Conversational English
English for Specific Purposes (ESP) such as Business, Legal, and Medical English
Kids and teens aged 10 and up
I primarily use the Linguahouse curriculum, which includes interactive and level-appropriate materials that keep lessons interesting and goal-oriented. Each lesson is customized to your needs — whether you want to practice speaking, prepare for a job, or improve your child’s confidence.
