BECOME CONVERSATIONAL WITHIN A FEW LESSONS! Look at my profile, I have many long time students! I like teaching languages, because it always means cultural exchange. Learning languages should be fun and every lesson is tailor-made according to the needs of the student. I had several ADHD students with special needs and could help them to achieve their learning goals. I teach German in an integrated way, grammar, conversation, reading and writing. I will give you homework and motivate you to learn as well at home. My motto: There is no inapt student, only teachers who do not know how to teach individual students effectively! BECOME CONVERSATIONAL WITHIN A FEW LESSONS! Integrated learning method! I have a wide range of materials, textbooks, PDF files, children's books, teenager literature, newspaper articles, games and videos for different age groups. I adjust my teaching method to my students. Students have different expectations and I try to find them out. I ask my students for feedback and let them chose the material; try to have a balanced class, grammar, conversation, quiz, games and free talking, reading and writing. As I have learnt several languages (Russian, English, Latin, Korean, Hindi), I know about difficulties and pitfalls of learning a language. Please contact me regarding the time before booking!

Eurolta certificate - ESL Prolog Berlin - 2013The course contained 246 lessons of teaching and 145 contact hours with students. It enables me to teach German professionally as a foreign language in language institutes and private lessons.

Teaching certificate - Goethe Deutsch Zentrum - 2011I have gotten this certificate because I was working as a German teacher in this institute, teaching kids conversation, exam preparation, grammar, writing and reading. I was working as a teacher for a year in a kindergarden and another year in an elementary school in Korea. On italki I have been teaching in the last 7 years more than 3000 classes for kids (in total 11.700 classes on italki).

2019 - 2020

TeacherElementary and middle school - Hamyang, 韓國I was teaching in an elementary school and this gave me the possibility to explore many group games and improve their language skills with games and activities. I teach a lot of kids on italki and this offline experience helped me to create flexible learning plans for them.

2011 - 2012

TeacherGoethe institute - Daegu, 韓國I was preparing elementary, middle, high school students and adults for Goethe institute exams, iGCSE German exam, integration exams for moving to another country, MIKA test, and German international schools and was as well teaching conversation, grammar, writing, listening and reading.

2012 - 2013

TeacherKindergarden - Hamyang, 韓國I was teaching in the kindergarden children between 3 and 6 years. Interactive games, songs, outdoor games, writing for the elder children, learning words through online and offline games, starting conversation.

2004 - 2005

TeacherTribal elementary school - Maesalong, 泰國In a tribal village of the Lahu tribe near Maesalong right on the border to Myanmar I was teaching English. It was really challenging, but helped me to get experience teaching kids with almost no material apart from a blackboard and white chalk.

2001 - 2002

TeacherElementary school - Chautara, 尼泊爾In a small village called Nawalpur in Sindhupalchowk District in Bagmati Province of central Nepal I was teaching English in an elementary school. The area was occupied by the Maois guerilla at that time. There was no running water and electricity and during the rainy season there was water in the classroom. The kids were eager to learn and very attentive. In the afternoon there came some students and asked me to help them with their homework. Some of them brought corn and vegetables as payment.

2000 - 2001

TeacherPublic school - Palani Hills, 印度While I was working with an NGO called Magres in India, I was as well teaching English in a tribal village in the forest in the Palani hills, Tamil Nadu in India. It did not only spark my interest in teaching, but showed me a way of getting in touch with other cultures through teaching. You give back to the community, it gives you a place in the community.

2003 - 2004

TeacherPublic elementary school - Namwon, 韓國Teaching in an elementary school helped me to understand what Korean kids, teachers and parents expect from a teacher. This is important especially when teaching people of different backgrounds, because expectations do not only vary indivdually, but as well from culture to culture. The learning experience of students is important and needs to be addressed and considered.

Another great lesson as always. Today we discussed a video that talked about ancient wisdom and its place in today's society. Through this discussion, I was able to practice and refine specific grammatical points and learn vocabulary and expressions one would not normally encounter in a textbook or other learning situations.
