My name is Silvia, I'm from Colombia and my native language is Spanish. I love languages and I would love to learn many more. Let's try to have fun, laugh and smile to make learning more enjoyable and for my students to feel comfortable at all times. I am very patient and I will try to help you at all times. As a tip, I tell you that making mistakes is very normal. When you are learning a language this is the most common thing. In our conversations I will explain the new words in context so you can remember it easily. My method is more casual, spontaneous, repeating words or phrases as many times as necessary. I also try to make the student use all their senses to relate words or phrases. I can also give you other types of resources to continue your learning.我的教材

Silvia is a great teacher! She understands how to teach and does very well at it. She explains things in great detail and is a super good communicator. Our lesson was amazing and she taught me so much in our conversation. 10/10. Will be continuing to practice with her and I recommend her for anyone trying to learn Spanish. She’s a great teacher!

Un día vi un video sobre Esmeralda Castillo y me llamó mucho la atención su historia. Quería saber más sobre lo que pasó con ella, así que en clase discutimos la noticia. Silvia me ayudó mucho, leímos juntas y también charlamos sobre el caso. Me pareció muy interesante y triste al mismo tiempo. Aprendí más vocabulario y también cómo expresar mis ideas sobre temas serios en español.
