I'm learning foreign languages as well, so I understand the struggle that people can face when trying to learn a foreign language, and the effort that goes into improving. I love other cultures, and I have a variety of interests, so anything you would like to talk about is welcome! I do believe that learning a foreign language is to have a second mind, or to see the world from different eyes. I would love to hear from you, learn about your interests and help you improve your language in the process!我的教學經歷
I am a TEFL certified English teacher. I have taught overseas in Ukraine, as well as South Korea. I have also taught in 2 separate states in the USA, and have taught music privately for several years. In university, I majored in Education and Linguistics, and minored in music. I have also taught online for a few different platforms, as well as teaching online through zoom during the pandemic. As a teacher, I believe that it's important to keep learning myself, so that I can grow and learn with my students.我的課程內容與教學風格
Our first lesson will mostly be conversation - I will learn about you, your conversational skills in English, what level you would like to achieve and why. Every student is different, so I don't have a set teaching style. In South Korea, I had one class that loved learning vocabulary through games, and another class that actually did better with worksheets. I never give up on students, so we will find the style that is best for you, and improve your skills through different methods. I am open to suggestions as well, so if you have something specific you would like to work on, or an exercise you would like to try, just let me know, and I will do my best to help you!5.0

Before class, I feel a little bit stressful in English talking. After Rachel's leading, she taught me strategically and listened my talking patiently. Also, she gave appropriate advice after my talking, and it let my learning better. I will choose her to teach my talking after the trial class.

Thank you for the lesson! It was really helpful to practice my English. We got to know each other and set a plan for future lessons. The teacher is very responsive, understanding, and pleasant to talk to. The class was engaging, and time just flew by!

She knows what she teaches and what I need to fix to improve my language skills. She is also very meticulous, which is necessary for English teachers. I am good at reading and listening, but speaking is always a problem. She is the only teacher who knows what to teach and what needs to be learned for students. The best English teacher, not only on italki but anywhere.
