French lessons with Melissa are the best part of my week! Melissa is super engaging and makes learning French fun and interactive. She really knows how to break down complex grammar rules and makes them easy to understand and she always has great recommendations for French movies, music, and books to help me immerse myself in the language outside of class. Worth every cent! Melissa has been my French teacher for almost a year and she is hands down the best language teacher I've ever had. She is patient and friendly, but professional, so that standards remain high and I am (kindly and gently) compelled to improve. Best of all, she customizes the lessons to target my specific issues. Her dedication and intuition have been a huge help to me. Very highly recommended!

Been taking classes with Melissa since June '24 and it greatly improved my ability to understand and speak French. Last month I went on a ski trip in the French Alps and I managed to speak French quite well. What is more, as Melissa is also a very good Spanish speaker, we use Spanish to communicate, because I've recently learned it (before starting French) and I would like to keep it sharp. Her versatility with languages helps me a lot.

Melissa continues to help me build a foundation in French, while at the same time making longer French conversations between us. My goal is not to be a robot, but to feel natural in French so I appreciate that I don't feel worried if I'm not speaking 100% correctly as long as I get my message across and she will correct it in my notes if it's a big deal. My paternal grandparents are from Sainte-Lucie so this is a connection to them who were fluent in créole and standard French.

Je vous apprécie. She grows your confidence in excelling. It starts to connect faster whenever we have bonus classes so I definitely suggest you take her up on that because it reinforces the lessons previous in how I talk more spontaneously. Merci !
