I have always loved teaching, firstly as a music teacher . When i started travelling i discovered Asia and fell in love with its wide diversity of fascinating cultures, hospitable people, delicious food and interesting places to visit.
I love learning languages and have managed to achieve a high level in French, Thai and passable Arabic.
In my free time i enjoy playing & listening to music, cooking, playing sports and meeting new people from all over the world. I have taught in British Council for 7 years and the top Thai University for 10 years as well as a number of private language schools. i have also been an examiner for many international exams including IELTS我的教學經歷
I am an IELTS Teacher & Examiner. Also, my wide range of teaching experiences throughout my career has found me teaching students of all ages and levels , ranging across a spectrum of different courses from General English to Academic Writing, Presentation Skills, Business English and Examination Preparation courses. Also, teaching in different countries and cultures has helped me to be adaptable and sensitive to the differing needs and and expectations of students that i encounter. As a result i feel confident in being able to provide students with what they seek when they choose to study in my online classes.我的課程內容與教學風格
i feel that a teacher's lesson format and style should be adaptable to what the students need and feel comfortable with. Having said that, my aims are to deliver well-paced, goal-oriented with a relaxed and fun class atmosphere. Enjoyment is Key! I try to avoid teacher-centred classes if possible, thus encouraging students to be responsible for their own learning. Also, i plan lessons very carefully, but not rigidly because flexibility, for me, is paramount in the classroom. i aim at all times to be approachable, so that students will be confident to stop me and ask about target language that they haven't quite grasped or would like to practise more until they feel they have "got it".我的教材

D.TEFLA - Cambridge Board - 2001I had to take a course of Preparation classes from the instructors accompanied by preparing and presenting classes to carry out with the students, who observed and later gave feedback on each lesson. This course was taken after my C.TEFLA. In addition i have taken an exam from IGCSE exams, which i passed and was able to examine students in schools within Bangkok. I also taught IELTS classes with the British Council and was an IELTs Examiner from 1998 to 2013.

D.TEFLA - British Council/Cambridge Exams - 1993i Worked for the Diploma alongside of normal teaching duties at British Council.
A Local Supervisor guided me through the course material and observed my classes frequently. I had done the C.TEFLA, of course (5 years beforehand). Unfortunately, my C.TEFLA Certificate was mislaid when i lost some luggage moving to a new country many yeas back.
NB. I have enclosed a copy of my Diploma Certificate together with an IGCSE Certificate i obtained to examine in local schools.
