Hi I'm Kiki!
初めましてキキと申します。
I was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio and now am living in Nagoya, Japan. I love Japanese language and culture. Some of the things I enjoy include: cosplay, anime and manga, video games, fashion, cooking.

I have a daughter under one years old. I take care of her full time so you may hear her in the background.

I am self taught in my Japanese so I understand the difficulty of learning a new language very well.

You could say I am an alternative thinking teacher. I only expect my students to try their best.
普段の先生と違うと言えるかも知りませんが生徒に対する期待は一つだけです、皆ができるだけ頑張って欲しいです。
I don't want to just have you feel like you are memorizing words and repeating me. I aim to give each student the confidence to not only understand, but confidently express themselves through English.
単語を覚えさして真似ることだけではなく生徒に英語をわかるような自信と自分の意見や言いたいことを心から言えるように差し上げたいです。
I try to refrain from using a lot of Japanese, but also see no sense in forced immersion when a student is struggling to completely understand a word or topic.
日本語をいっぱい使いことはしないですが無理やりさせたくないので生徒が特に困ったり理解していないの場合は英語だけではなくて日本語でもはっきり教えたいと思います。我的課程內容與教學風格
Lessons tend to be more conversation and output based, but the key to my lessons is the individualization to each student.
キキのレッスンは大体会話とアウトプットに集中しますがポイントは生徒たちに一人一人を合わせてレッスンを提供することです。
We will use materials and activities that interest you, and theres no strict curriculum or textbooks. Games, debates, videos, quizzes; these are all different ways you can expect to enjoy my lessons.
