My name is Shirin.
I'm originally from Iran but I'm living in Turkey right now.
I speak Persian, which is my mother language, English, French and a little bit Turkish.
I'm a bit shy but having worked as a teacher for many years, I have learned to communicate in other languages without any fear and I constantly encourage my students to do the same.
Je m'appelle shirin, je suis iranienne mais j'habite actuellement en Turquie.

I have been working as a French teacher since 2009.
Conversation, beginner lessons and test preparation are my specialities.
I always try to create a friendly and positive atmosphere in my classes.
To Farsi learners : Speaking a mother tongue is one thing and teaching it is another : I know all the grammar you need to learn and I'm able to explain it using an easy and understandable way. The idiomatic expressions that you could learn talking to a native speaker can help you a lot expressing yourself in this language.

In every lesson I use a different method according to my student's needs :
French Test preparation : Samples, structure explanation and trics to answer questions provided. The focus will be on upgrading student's level in All 4 skills.
French Beginners : A book will be chosen according to student's preferences and we'll start from scratch, focusing on correct pronunciation and daily conversations.
For Farsi learners : I share my own document which contains alphabet, dialogues and grammar.
I also teach Farsi using a special book written for foreigner Persian learners.

Proof of Employment - Graybridge Malkam - 2021I have been working for this school since 2021, where I teach the Canadian my primary responsibility is to prepare candian public servents for a professional French language proficiency exam which assesses reading, writing, and speaking skills. On italki, I have been offering French exam preparation, particularly for the TCF and TEF exams, which while not identical, share similarities with other language proficiency exams. In all these exams, students must demonstrate similar skills.
