Hello there! My name is Mick. Thank you for checking out my profile. If you're considering learning or already learning Mandarin Chinese, and you want to find a native speaker to help you learn and brush up, then I may be the person you're looking for. I majored in English in university, and I've been using English for jobs ever since, so I can speak English fluently. I'm easy-going, detail-oriented and patient. I'm experienced as a Mandarin Chinese tutor as I started tutoring on italki back in 2011, and I know what aspects of Mandarin Chinese learners may struggle. I have the experience of tutoring HSK tests, and teaching standard Mandarin Chinese textbooks.我的課程內容與教學風格
• Mandarin Speech Sounds and Tones class is mainly for Mandarin Chinese beginners. Mandarin Chinese is a tonal language, so the class is all about Mandarin Chinese tones practice and correction.
• We can do role-playing and topic talk in Spoken Chinese session to practice your conversational skills. Talk about whatever that interests you in Chinese, Chinese culture, history, etc.
• Chinese Reading and Writing is for upper intermediate to advanced level learners. We can focus on vocabulary learning and sentence structure in reading and writing session.
• Or I can simply customize the lesson whatever suits your way of learning the best.我的教材

Yaaaay!! I've just finished the 101st lesson with Micky! I'm in the middle of HSK4 and really enjoy his lesson. His feedback documents and audio files are always very helpful to me and, as another teacher who recommended him to me said, his pronunciation is very clear and comfortable to listen to🎶 I'm sure I will make further great progress this year! I have been taking Micky老师's Chinese lessons for half a year. He gives lessons perfectly to my level. And he always sends me a PDF and MP3 for review after the lesson. In today's lesson, we had a free talk and talked about our plans and goals for next year. I realized once again that my level of Chinese has definitely improved. I am very happy to be able to take Micky老师's lessons.ミッキー先生のレッスンを半年以上、受けていますが、ヒアリングとスピーキングが上達したと思います。先生の中国語は標準的な発音でとても聴き取りやすいです。完全に私のレベルに合わせてくれますし、困ったら日本語で助けてくれるので、安心してレッスンを受けられます。レッスン後に送ってくれる復習用のPDFと音声もとてもありがたいです。

Spent awhile trying to learn Chinese with books and courses until found this site and met Micky. It was change like after walking for 20 kilometers finally catch a taxi. He is definitely talented teacher and linguist. Thanks Micky.
