Hello!
My name is Bernice. I'm from Manila, Philippines. 🇵🇭
I am a native English speaker! I speak English fluently having grown up in an English-speaking household.
I am a licensed teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and 10+ years teaching experience. I also once traveled to Denmark and Bali as a volunteer teacher.
I love traveling, exploring new places, reading and writing. I enjoy learning new things and meeting new people 😊

My Conversation Practice lessons are spontaneous and informal with a touch of good humor. 😊
👉🏻 If you want to practice your speaking skills, I will listen attentively and guide the conversation to increase your speaking time.
👉🏻 If you want to practice your speaking and listening skills, we could have a balanced conversation where we take turns in talking about the topic.
👩🏻💻 We will keep a student record of everything you've learned in each class on a Google Doc/PDF file. In this record, I will include online resources that are specific to your needs which you can use to improve the weak spots in your English.我的教材

At first, I started taking English lessons with her in order to prepare for job interviews. Turned out it was an excellent choice, since she really is a professional, patient and engaging teacher. She also provides very good and personalized learning materials. Above all she has a kind, cheerful and friendly personality, which makes learning easy and fun.

Bernice is a perfect tutor on Italki. She a native English speaker, but also she is a very talented and experienced teacher of English who has a deep knowledge of the subject.
Providing good material and topics for the learning process, she is always well-prepaired and punctual.
Apart from that, having lessons with her is lots of fun.
