Hi, I’m Charlotte. I’m a native English speaker from New Zealand. I am fun, friendly, and encouraging. I love helping others, meeting new people, learning about other countries and their cultures, and I enjoy learning languages. I have a great sense of humour and I enjoy discussing: dance, fitness, psychology and how the mind works, the law of attraction, movies, music and sharing jokes. I also enjoy meditation, yoga, group fitness classes, knitting, and travelling. I have travelled all over the world. I have been to Europe, South America, Australia, the United States of America (USA), Canada, Indonesia, and I have even travelled my home country, New Zealand, in a campervan.

我的教學經歷

My teaching philosophy is simple, yet effective. I inspire students to gain confidence in their language learning journey, by uncovering the fear that prevents students speaking. I believe that when students are encouraged in their area of concern, they can see their errors as learning opportunities and therefore begin to improve. I do this by working on all the key skill areas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I have a CELTA qualification. In 2016, I taught English conversation classes at CCAA and Cultura Inglesa, in Piracicaba, Brazil. I currently work as a Teacher Aide & ESOL tutor at a primary school, am a group fitness instructor, and a wellness coach. I love helping others!

My lessons are upbeat and fun. I like to encourage students to have as much spoken practice as possible during my lessons. I use Google Documents and document and screen sharing via Skype as well. My lessons are designed with your goals in mind. I can create any lesson to include material that helps you become more confident in whichever areas you need, whether that be; reading, writing, listening, or speaking. I can also create homework exercises that are fun and relevant to each student’s individual goals and needs, and provide helpful error feedback at the end of each lesson. I look forward to meeting you.
