Hi, I’m Juan — a 35-year-old Commercial Pilot and Journalist from Bogotá, Colombia.
With over 8 years of teaching experience on italki and thousands of lessons, I help students speak English and Spanish with confidence in real-life situations.
I’ve been learning languages since childhood (French, English, Italian, and now Portuguese), so I understand what it takes to go from beginner to fluent.
My background in aviation and communication allows me to focus on clear, effective speaking — not just theory.
