Learn Thai with Joy (Fun and Practical) Hello! My name is Joy, a native Thai teacher and eBook author, “Reading Thai Made Easy” (Emurse eBook Series). I specialize in helping expats, travelers, and culture enthusiasts speak Thai confidently and efficiently. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, majoring in English, from a university in Thailand. After graduating, I worked as both an English and Thai teacher at a language center, and later gained valuable experience working with international companies. I have been teaching Thai to international students for many years. Through this experience, I understand the different goals learners have . As a tonal language with five tones, Thai can be both challenging and fascinating, and I help students approach it in a clear and practical way. My teaching style focuses on helping you speak Thai naturally and correctly from the beginning. I also offer reading and writing lessons for students who want a more complete understanding of the language. All lessons are fully personalized to your goals and interests, whether you want to focus on: Everyday conversation,Business ,Travelling .Thai culture ,News ,Thai food and lifestyle. I design my own teaching materials, including structured lessons, worksheets, and visual aids, to make learning engaging and effective. During today's Thai lesson, Kru Joy showed my children a variety of different krathongs made in Thailand to celebrate the upcoming holiday of Loy Krathong. They practiced new vocabulary, reviewed basic other vocab including numbers and colors. I love how flexible Kru Joy is in making each and every lesson effective for my kids. :) It's definitely not an easy feat with two young kids!! We love Kru Joy!

My first lesson with Joy was great! She quickly understood what I needed and chose the right materials for me. She explains things very clearly and gives many examples. She also helps by showing similarities between language points. She is friendly and always smiling. I felt very comfortable during the lesson. Of course, I will take more lessons with her.
