¡Hola! I’m Cecilia Ruiz, a passionate and dedicated Spanish teacher with over 10 years of experience. As a native speaker from Argentina, I bring authenticity and cultural richness to every lesson. Since moving to Paris in 2011, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the challenges learners face when mastering a new language, especially in a multicultural setting like mine. My teaching philosophy revolves around making learning *fun* and engaging, blending language with cultural immersion. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your fluency, I tailor my lessons to suit your needs, always with a touch of humor and positivity. My main motivation to become a Spanish teacher is related to a strong vocation to social activities and communication. Teaching allows me to give practical and theoretical knowledge to the students to improve their own languages skills. Witnessing their evolution in Spanish has become an extra pleasure of my own teaching activity. I always respect diversity and the students’ main objectives.

First of all, I keep a personal conversation with the students about their main objectives and at that point in time and according with their personal level in Spanish, I start planning the lessons. The personal commitment and oral production, are both prioritized. But the most important thing is that the students have fun while learning this beautiful language. Learn a new language is fun, meaningful and has a purpose! I am very flexible and I adapt and carry out activities based on the students’ needs. Cecilia is an incredible, natural teacher. Every lesson I learn so much and I enjoy the lesson. (I never enjoyed learning languages at school.) I have gone from zero to very conversationally comfortable with her classes in a year and I have never had to strain myself at all to do it. A really big thank you! I can’t recommend her classes highly enough. If you want to learn Spanish, believe me, you just found the ideal teacher. Period.

Cecilia is by far the best language teacher I have worked with. She speaks almost exclusively in Spanish and explains difficult concepts in Spanish using simpler words when needed. She prepares very interesting material to discuss in class and pushes me to the next level.
