My passion is teaching - I love helping people solve learning problems that arise with the introduction of a new language.
I have always been interested in languages and how they are learned. This interest led me to become a language teacher, which I have done for about ten years now - both online and offline (in a classroom).我的教學經歷
I'm observant of my students; it's priority to create an appropriate environment for learning. It's easy to explain grammar or word meaning. What's more challenging (and a real beauty of my job) is finding a way to explain it to individual people in a way they can understand.
Some students want to learn a language but are really uncomfortable with terms like noun, adjective, conjugation, or declination. Others are nervous because it's their first time learning anything online. Some believe they are too old to learn and think that all is lost. Each of them gets a special approach from me. I teach using coursebooks which are proven to provide the best results. Each lesson is carefully designed to allow enough time for the student to speak and learn something new. After every unit, a test is conducted to assess the student's knowledge and keep track of their progress. If we find there are any problematic or unclear areas, I pay special attention to them.
I make sure each and every student receives the best possible service and is satisfied at the end of every class.
You can learn Serbian with ease and fun. I make sure there's no tension in class because learning a completely new language can be challenging itself.我的教材

I have now completed 62 lessons with Kristina. I always look forward to them and learn something new every session. Each lesson challenges me and I am beginning to feel more confident when speaking Serbian. Everything we learn is useful and my Serbian wife is always impressed with how much I have learnt. I couldn't ask for a better teacher to be learning Serbian with and I cannot recommend Kristina highly enough. Not only is she extremely knowledgable and patient but she's also a very warm and friendly person.

I'm very happy to have found Kristina as a teacher. I work at a school where 100+ languages are spoken and there is language instruction in English from newcomers through university prep. I have also conducted research in language instruction programs. So, in learning Serbian I am a bit picky about finding an instructor with good language teaching techniques and materials. She's a good teacher! She has a good base plan for teaching and fills that in with more specific information to help your weaker areas. For me, she provides right balance of patience and correction--I think my Serbian will improve quickly.

It's been 5 months since I started learning Serbian with Kristina. I found myself in Serbia without knowing the language and these lessons helped me a lot in everyday life and in communicating with Serbs. Almost everything we study is useful to me in my life in Serbia. And if there are problems with something, then Kristina will always help solve them, be it slang, unobvious grammar or the name of dishes at the Slava holiday. Each lesson is easy and interesting, but always useful. I'm looking forward to new lessons!

Just finished my 7th lesson and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. These classes are incredible resources for those new to Serbian or looking to improve their skills. There’s many opportunities to practice speaking which is so valuable. Kristina is such a great leader and guides the class in a very structured manner. Hvala Kristina! My confidence grows with each lesson. Even my father, who is a native speaker, is impressed with the fast results.
