Hello my name is Sam En. I am a teacher by profession and my passion is watching people gain knowledge and learn other languages. I am 32 years old and I have two children. I like to read novels and listen to music. In my spare time I like to do exercise and play badminton.
My dream is to travel around the world. I really love to hear about other cultures and educate others about my culture.我的教學經歷
I decided to become a teacher to give people the skills that they needed to become literate. I wanted to inspire and motivate others to follow their dreams and work hard in their studies.
As a teacher I believe that the student needs to explore a subject and I don't believe in dictation as the best form of learning.
In the classroom I like to use a lot of energy as my students will then have the same energy to study hard.
I am patient with my students as I understand that everybody learns at a different pace. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I cover a wide range of topics. I tailor the class dependent on the students needs and their existing ability level. I like to use flash cards when teaching as they provide an additional stimulant and I believe they engage the students better and for longer. I also like to use memory games to reinforce learning and as a review tool.我的教材

I started studying with Bong En 2 months ago and already made great progress thanks to her instruction methods. She has a very fun and relatable teaching style while remaining professional at all times. Bong En has extensive background in education and many years of experience teaching Khmer language to non native speakers. This makes her understand the challenges learners face and tailor the classes to build up knowledge step by step. She helped me build vocabulary, grow conversation skills, and teach me alphabet in a very structured way. She is also able to explain the cultural context behind the language to help the learner immerse into the language.
I recommend Bong En to everyone looking to learn or practice Khmer.
