Hi, I'm Asami and I want to help you learn to speak Japanese fluently.
I’ve been teaching Japanese in classrooms and in private since 2015. I have been trained with “Direct Methods” for teaching Japanese, which means that I’ll teach you Japanese by only using Japanese as much as possible. We will focus on speaking and listening and it is my responsibility to create a relaxed and fun environment that is focused on your learning. To speak Japanese fluently you will need to hear and understand lots of natural Japanese speech, so I will use a lot of our class time to provide you interesting, comprehensible input.

I love my language and teaching it, and I hope to help my students find the joy of learning and speaking a new language.
What I like is music, underground culture, onsen, education, psychology and meditation and my dog.
I enjoy also Japanese Hip hop. The lyrics are wonderful combinations of well-thought Japanese and I like their word play. I also like to travel and have been to the U.S., Uganda, Ethiopia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong. I had lived in Thailand for 4 years and I like spicy food.我的課程內容與教學風格

I will support you as a language coach until you can speak the target vocabulary and grammar naturally from your mouth without thinking in your head.
It's your job to help me to know whether or not you are understanding me, to tell me if I should slow down, to speak to the best of your abilities, and to relax and enjoy!我的教材

I've taken 2 classes with Asami so far! I am a beginner to Japanese and she is extremely patient and helpful, and I love her approach using stories and characters to learn in a way that is simple, fun, and memorable. :)

I like Asami's method of teaching. I have never had a live Japanese teacher before, and it's sometimes difficult for me to keep up. But Asami is very patient and flexible to my needs.

Asami-sensei does a fantastic job explaining Japanese without translation! I came to her classes with almost no Japanese background, but she was able to make me understand Japanese using gestures, pictures, props, and lots of different examples. Apart from an odd word here and there, she almost never resorted to English, which I found quite impressive.
I asked for "crosstalk lessons" - a style where I don't speak Japanese and instead respond in English. (This is because I am focusing on my listening comprehension and delaying speaking.) This is not the style of lesson Asami-sensei usually teaches, but she did a fantastic job adapting to it. Whether you want to speak English or Japanese, I'm sure her lessons will be great for you.
