Hi I'm Alex,
I relocated a lot in life, something that led me to naturally learn languages quickly. With a history of living in Russia, Israel, Canada, and now in Peru, my focus is always on being in an engaging environment that is stimulating and conducive to growth. I absolutely love learning new subjects. I learned English as a child, watching TV in Israel, and Spanish at age 24 in only 6 months. Naturally sharing my love of learning with others, I found myself teaching English to Peruvian children and Spanish to foreigners in Peru, all in a conversational style, maintaining the liveliness and joy of learning.
Having worked at retreat centers, speaking closely with people overcoming trauma, gave me valuable experience that I can transfer into my work as a teacher. This experience led me to meet people with acceptance and patience, understanding that each one of us has their own personal journey, and that wherever we are, we can work together to remove blockages (such as with learning new subjects) and find balance, reaching whatever set goal at a comfortable pace.
The teaching style I provide is conversational, fun, and easy. Having learned languages naturally many times, I highly support the conversational style, with a special focus on topics of interest that deeply motivate you to learn.
