Izarel

Iza is a fantastic teacher. She’s always prepared with good lesson materials and packs a lot into each class. I appreciate her willingness to answer questions and accommodate real-life questions and conversations also. She’s the best!

I've really been enjoying my Spanish lessons with Izarel. I started the lessons about 3 months ago and currently see her for 2 hours each week. For the 2 years before my lessons with her, I took lessons with someone else. I learned a lot of grammar and vocabulary during that time, but because my past teacher and I rarely spoke Spanish together, I struggled and had very little confidence when trying to speak it with others. During each lesson now, Izarel and I only speak Spanish, and in just the 3 months that I've been seeing her, the confidence I have in my ability to communicate in Spanish with others has greatly improved.

I have taken over 100 classes with Iza at this point and they are always great. She is always prepared and spends lot of time outside of the lessons finding exercises or study aids. She caters the lesson plans around the things she notices you are struggling with. I could not recommend Iza highly enough.

Izarel arrived to the class on time. Introduction to goals and some background. Very clear communication and speed that was great to work with. Immediate feedback on corrections teaching. Very friendly and easy to engage with. Looking forward to next class!!

Izarel is a great language teacher. Although my Spanish level isn't very high, I still spoke in Spanish for most of the lesson. It was slightly challenging, without it being overwhelming. She very patiently explained words and concepts I didn't understand very clearly. She spoke about 90-95% of the lesson in Spanish, which is my preference. She provides you with notes from the lesson to review between classes. Thanks, Izarel!
