Hey there! I'm Teacher Tam, a 28-year-old on a journey of self-improvement. I've been teaching English for a decade, helping students of all ages with their language skills.
I studied psychology and plan to become a psychologist. I also completed a certificate in creative writing, due to my hobbies of writing and reading.
Besides that, I'm all about self-improvement and enjoy inspiring others to grow. Nature is my happy place – I love hiking. You can also find me gaming for a different kind of adventure!
As a teacher, I'm patient and adapt to each student's style. I specialize in conversational English, always bringing interesting topics to the table. I hope to speak to you soon!我的教學經歷
I have been teaching English for over 10 years. I have taught all ages and I have a passion for helping people learn and grow. I believe that being able to speak the English language fluently, is a vital part of advancing in today’s world. I love teaching grammar rules, but I also enjoy teaching conversational English. I enjoy this more, because then I get to know my students! I have recently completed my secondary Honor's Degree in Psychology and acquired an accredited TEFL certificate. I am also certified in English Creative Writing. In my spare time I volunteer as a lay counsellor for those in need. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My teaching style is very dynamic and adaptable to a wide range of students! I will discuss what YOU as the student would prefer and then create a lesson plan for you individually. I find this works best (from past experience) as every student is different in every way! I create most of my lesson content myself, since I have a passion for writing and digital art! I also use various other sources, but you are welcome to send me your own resources if you have a preference for a certain curriculum. You, as the student, work with me to design an optimal lesson plan that is best suited to YOU. I am very flexible and keen to tailor lessons to the individual. I’ve been taking Tam’s lessons for many years now, and I can say that she’s an amazing teacher, as well as a lovely person I can feel safe talking to in general. I’ve found myself comfortable discussing various topics with her, and she’s given me quite a handful of helpful tips for my writing journey. I find myself energized after our lessons and always looking forward to the next one. I’m very glad to have found her and to have her as a teacher for all these years, and hope to continue our lessons for many years to come.
