我的教學經歷

我曾经是一名市立初中英语老师，教过初一初二学生英文，后来从事国际学校、双语学校的市场工作，和外国朋友接触，教他们中文，因此我很清楚很多人在语言学习过程中遇到的困难。我希望用我的经验和心得，帮助更多的人学习中文。 I used to be an English teacher and taught students in their first and second years of public middle school. Then I was responsible for the marketing for international and bilingual schools. With this opportunity, I met a lot of foreigners and helped them learn Chinese, so I know the difficulties most people encounter in their language learning process. I hope I could help you learn Chinese with my rich experiences and methods.

我的上课风格多变，会根据学生的特点做调整，但主要是帮助学生学习正确的中文发音和造句，使用成语、谚语和一些日常用语，帮助学生提高地道的中文表达。 My teaching style is dynamic and can be determined according to your needs, but the most important part is to master the secrets of Chinese pronunciation, learn some idioms and some words we use every day, also I would like to guide you to write sentences, which helps you understand the expressions used by native speakers.

Today we've finished studying our coursebook for HSK 3 preparation with Claire! I feel much more confident in the Chinese language than before and it's all due to Claire's help. I've learned a lot about the language and the culture and I've had both very interesting and very friendly lessons all this time. I hope to continue studying with Claire, because she is the best teacher of Chinese I've met and a very good-natured and supportive person. Looking forward to our next lesson!

Claire is a perfect teacher for every level of chinese. She is easy-going and funny, which help her to keep contact with students. Being a kind and gentle person she will be especcially usefull for kids, but her knowledges and interest to other cultures also help her to speak with older students. Thank you again, friend. I speak more than six languages, and I have taken a lot of lessons online for Italian, Spanish and Mandarin. I can't recall a teacher as interested in the nuances of a language as Claire is. It's always a lesson in linguistics as well as Mandarin. Fascinating! If you want to really know how Chinese works, and not just learn to speak it, she is the teacher for you.
