I’m Adriana, an official DELE/SIELE examiner (Instituto Cervantes) and certified Spanish teacher with over 9 years of experience. I help adults ace their Spanish exams (DELE A1–C2, SIELE) and speak fluently with confidence.
Born in Venezuela and based in Barcelona, I bring together my passion for teaching, technology, writing, and cultural exchange. My secret? I am a Spanish teacher and I have been teaching Spanish online for over 9 years. My students have different ages and levels of Spanish. The ages of my students range from 16 to 85 years old. I am not currently teaching children. My goal is to help you improve your fluency in Spanish. When teaching Spanish as a foreign language, I focus on the 4 language skills: writing, reading, speaking and listening. However, it is important to focus on conversation and listening because they are fundamental tools for teaching any language. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I design my lessons according to the interests, needs and levels of my students. In my opinion it is very important that my lessons are interactive and fun covering all grammar topics. On the other hand, it is essential that the student feels connected with her teacher so that the lessons flow in the most appropriate way.

I decided I wanted a teacher with structure and we are working through a B1 book and doing homework and we have great conversations all along the way. Adriana’s accent is very neutral and that’s helpful for me since I live in Los Angeles and travel to Mexico at times and speak Spanish here in Los Angeles mostly with Mexican-Americans and Central Americans. But I also intend to travel back to Spain.
She is friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable, and corrects me in a very positive manner. For my work, I won’t need to pass an exam – but it’s good having more formal structured lessons. It gives me more to work on than just a community tutor so that I speak in an educated manner. I highly recommend her.

Adriana is the best teacher! She is always so prepared with material that clearly explains grammar areas that I can use improvement on and she expands on the grammar lesson by applying the grammar structure that we reviewed that day to create examples that are very applicable for me in my work. Adriana is an expert on Spanish grammar and explains it in a way that is easy to understand. She is also very flexible and if I ask her for advice on a topic, she easily changes the lesson to meet my needs and answers all of my questions. I feel so fortunate to have the best Spanish teacher!
