I'm a native speaker of English & German, professionally-trained in teaching both Oxford English (British/Australian accent) and Standard German (regular Hochdeutsch accent), with over 24 years experience.
I offer language courses and workshops for beginners and advanced learners, as well as specialized grammar/vocabulary/pronunciation seminars, an Accent Reduction Programme (ARP) and Business English for professionals.我的教學經歷
I have a lot of experience in teaching languages! I've taught many thousands of hours in both English and German, I've worked for several companies that provide language learning tools and courses (Babbel, SpeakEasy, Nova and British Council) and I'm an expert in accent reduction and vocabulary memorization techniques.我的課程內容與教學風格

English TeacherI worked for Nova ICI for a year, teaching Business English to Japanese professionals. This position included completion of Nova Business English training course, 50+ hours (CTBE)
2016 - 2017
German TeacherI provided daily in-house language courses for beginners and advanced students, liaised with HR to create custom-made workshops and personalized training and designed specialist training for accent reduction and vocabulary retention.
2009 - 2020
Manager and Language TeacherOwn venture, 6 subordinates, sale and management of 150+ corporate language courses per year. Customer success management of 80+ key accounts in Berlin, in tourism, automotive, education and retail sectors.

I had German lessons with Jerome to prepare for an important appointment requiring B1 speaking level. When we started, I was around A1, but after 20-30 lessons with him, I was able to speak confidently and complete my appointment successfully.
Lessons with Jerome are fun and engaging. He's full of energy, smart, and adaptive. He used different teaching methods and techniques to find what works for me the best, resulting in visible improvements in a very short period of time.

I had my first lesson with Jerome this past week, and I have to say: What a pro! Within 15 minutes of easygoing conversation, he had (1) assessed my level, (2) identified a grammatical mistake I had been making, and (3) pulled up materials that illustrated the relevant grammatical rule. He then created a brief "call and response" activity where we traded example sentences using the rule. I left the lesson knowing exactly how the rule functioned and with materials to study to boot—just phenomenal!
