Originally from Oakland, California, I am a former professional marathon runner with a decade of competitive experience, including eight marathon victories. My international background includes extended residencies in Japan and China, where I worked as an English instructor. I am conversationally fluent in both Japanese and Chinese, reflecting my deep appreciation for these languages and cultures. Beyond athletics, I am a passionate music enthusiast with extensive concert-going experience. My teaching and conversational interests span sports, music, global travel, and cross-cultural living experiences.我的教學經歷
I have taught English for over 10 years and taught various ages from 3 years old to 50 something years old. I have taught English in Japan, China and America. Most recently I taught English in Taian, Shandong, China for 4 years. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are very active and fun. There is always much participation and it is very enjoyable. There is repetition and some questions so there is a lot of speaking practice and practice makes perfect. I believe the more the student speaks the better he or she will be as an English speaker.我的教材
