Hello everyone! My name is Anastasia, but you can call me Ana. I teach Finnish and English here on Italki! I'm from Southern Finland and I'm currently studying Mandarin Chinese, linguistics and cultural research at university. I love learning new languages, and I hope to help others enjoy language learning as much as I do!
In addition to learning languages, I have many hobbies. I love everything from watching movies and playing video games to cooking and painting! Travelling is also something that is very close to my heart.我的教學經歷
I am a community tutor here on Italki. I have previously tutored pupils at primary schools, and I also tutor nurse students who are moving to Finland.
I am a patient, kind and positive teacher. I believe in teaching things that you will actually be able to use in your life. I will help you with topics that you want to learn, and teach you both grammar and vocabulary in a balanced way.
When it comes to Finnish, I can teach you both spoken and written Finnish, and we can even dabble in some slang that people use in daily conversations in the capital region.我的課程內容與教學風格
I believe that everyone learns differently. Together we will create a suitable way of learning for you. My main aim is to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere, so that you do not feel stressed or nervous to attend lessons! Do not worry if you're shy, I will never make my students do anything they don't want to.
*IMPORTANT*
- If a student is late for a lesson and does not inform me of it, I will wait for 15 minutes, after which if the student is absent, the lesson will be considered completed and no refund will be issued.
- Unfortunately I don't teach small children (<13) at the moment.
