Great lesson with Carmen! We talked about the Mid-Autumn Festival and the upcoming National Day holiday. Carmen also told me about Guangdong people and how they avoid the sun. Carmen remarked that my listening comprehension is improving, which was very motivating. Carmen was also very helpful when we reviewed pronunciation!

Great lesson with Carmen! We talked about the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival in China. Carmen told me about the traditions, food, etc. Carmen did a great job of using photos to show different things (mostly food) related to the festival!

Great lesson with Carmen! We talked about childhood - buying snacks with the little money we got. We also talked about "hiding the evidence" to avoid getting caught with snacks. It was fun and we also reviewed the sentences and pronunciation. Carmen did a great job of telling about life in China!
