Highly recommended. I felt comfortable speaking in french from day 1 with Carine. In fact, i hadn’t spoken in French with anyone before starting a month ago with her so really helped me get over that anxiety barrier. Her teaching style is fantastic - she has been a language learner herself so she knows what problems learners face 1st hand + the fact that she has formal teaching experience is a great asset. She has adapted well to my learning style and has a fantastic, structured, and intelligent teaching system as well.

We are working with exercises that I do on my own and we review them together. This approach is very helpful.

I try to articulate in French and it can be hard for me, but she encourages me and corrects me along the way so I will learn how to form sentences better.

We had a great time talking about current events. When I needed to know what word to use she would coach me along and write in the document as well.

I am amazed at how much more comfortable I am at speaking French because Carine is so supportive and patient. I am also learning more advanced grammar and the homework she gives me is very challenging. We always review it together the next lesson.
