María is just the best! She puts so much thought into crafting lessons that are clear, engaging, and well-structured. I really appreciate that she gives weekly homework assignments (reading, writing, listening, quizzes), and plenty of in-class practice with pronunciation/speaking. I've learned a lot already. María is SUPER kind, patient, and supportive too! I cannot recommend her highly enough.

The teacher talked all 30 minutes in English telling me about her plan for me for the future. But I want to speak some Spanish, and I told her that. She didn't listen and continued talking presenting her plan.

María is a fantastic teacher, she is patient and considerate and has really been helping me with my Spanish. We've been going through some reading that I chose which is hugely helpful for both my language progression but also relevant to my own research interests!
