I have been learning Italian with Desi on a weekly basis for over three years now. I have found her to be an incredible teacher who is professional, creative, and responsive. First, Desi provides students with a wide variety of options for scheduling lessons and has never missed a lesson. She keeps track of my progress through textbooks and provides tailored writing assignments and supplemental materials. As a professional teacher, she has lots of interesting materials that she can tailor to your interests including music, films, and articles on art and culture. Finally, Desi serves as an excellent coach who has helped me identify those areas where I need more work. She provides comments on my writing assignments and pronunciation and helps me understand context that is not always apparent in apps or textbooks. I am thankful to have found such a thoughtful and passionate teacher and would encourage anyone looking to begin or continue their language journey to study with her.

Desi is an incredible teacher. She makes the most of every minute of each lesson and I always finish the lesson feeling like I’ve learned a lot with noticeable progression in my language skills.

My husband and I just completed our 4th Italian lesson with Desi and we are so happy we found her as we already see a big difference in our confidence, listening, and speaking skills. Her lessons are very strategic and tailored to our skill level. We love how she makes full use of each moment as well as the interactive exercises she chooses for us to do throughout the sessions.
