Another great lesson with Risa! We focused on casual conversation and talked about various topics. Today we talked a good bit about food, in particular tacos, and also the USA election and how many people votes this year compared to 4 years ago. Always really interesting conversation. Risa is always very cheerful and helpful, and has a great sense of curiosity which makes every topic an interesting chat. ありがとうございました！

Risa is a star! I asked Risa to help me work through a manga I am reading and she is the perfect teacher for the job! She sticks to Japanese as much as possible, only using English where absolutely necessary, and has an amazing ability to explain vocabulary and grammar. We worked through the pages at a good pace, allowing me time to fully understand and make notes, but not wasting time either! She helped me repeat and practice tricky sentences, and pointed out areas where I needed help. In short, Risa is an amazing teacher, and a lovely person, and I'm going to be booking many many more lessons with her. Thank you Risa!

Had a great first lesson with Risa-san! She was very attentive, asked plenty of questions to open up the conversation and was generally a great listener. As someone who's trying to become more comfortable with speaking Japanese in normal conversation settings, Risa-san was a great conversation partner. Being able to talk about shared hobbies was also such a pleasant surprise and made the lesson even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Risa-san!
