Ciao! I’m Stefania, a professional Italian teacher for adults. I am certified through International House London.
I have taught Italian since the age of fourteen years old! I decided to teach my language so young as a volunteer to help immigrants integrate into Italian society.
I studied in Japan for four years and graduated from Osaka University with a bachelor's degree in human sciences. I had a lot of fun teaching the Italian language and culture while living in Japan. Italian is much more than words! It’s an attitude.
I have a lot of interests: singing, music, movies, tv series, books, dancing, traveling. And I love animals!我的教學經歷
I have experience teaching Italian to absolute beginner, intermediate, and advanced students (all adults).
I'm flexible with the way I teach. I communicate with each student to understand what works for them and integrate their preferences with a proven methodology.
I like using videos, movies, pictures, and music. I often create online apps for my students, and they all love them because these online exercises look like games. The more fun you have while learning, the better!
Depending on your level and how comfortable you feel, I will use English or Japanese during our lessons.
I also work as a professional copywriter and copyeditor, and this year I will publish my first novel! :)我的課程內容與教學風格
I know what it means to learn a new language! I moved abroad when I was 21 and had to learn Japanese to socialize and live a more independent life. So I can empathize with language learners and will do my best to make you feel at ease. And don't worry about making mistakes. They are golden learning opportunities!
I will use my experience and knowledge as a professional teacher to design your classes. I will also always take into account your specific requests and needs. I often include cultural aspects in my language lessons and work on all the main abilities: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
