My name is Audrey Catoire, I am a French as a Foreign Language Teacher with nine years experience in classroom (with children, teenagers and adults), 4 years experience with online teaching, a Master's degree in French as a Foreign Language and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
I lived and worked in Spain for 4 years and in Hong Kong for 5 years, and I am now back to Spain. I am fluent in English and Spanish, so I can use those two languages as lingua franca to teach French.
I'm passionate about music, films, literature and traveling.我的教學經歷
Working in the education field has always been a source of self-enrichment since I believe that education is the key to success and I truly enjoy teaching my language and sharing my culture. I always do my best to provide a friendly and encouraging learning environment by tailoring the lessons to the students' specific needs. I am convinced that my role is to guide my students in their construction of knowledge and stimulate their curiosity rather than being the primary source of information.我的課程內容與教學風格
I always build my lessons in a way that makes the students develop their observation and deduction. To ensure that the lessons are motivating and facilitate the learning, I believe that a teacher has to be innovative and use teaching material that is authentic and relevant to the students' life. For this reason, in addition to traditional teaching tools, I try as much as possible to build activities with authentic material that is up to date and matches the contents of the lessons and the students' interests, and to focus on speaking skills creating entertaining speaking activities such as games and role plays .我的教材

I had great fun learning French from Audrey for the last two months. The number of classes I've took with her speaks a lot for itself already. I see myself making great improvements all around, in grammar, prounounciation, vocabulary, sentence building, french culture, preparation for exams and most importantly, my confidence in speaking french.
Audrey is always punctual, prepared and supportive. Every lesson is well-prepared and with a lot of targeted exercises for me to practices. Also, she gives consistently gives me honest and constructive feedbacks which is really valuable and effective for me. I see myself continuing my french study with her for a very long time. Another great lesson today. We worked with a video and focused on oral comprehension and production, idiomatic expressions and the different "registers" of the French language. I love how Audrey prepares the lessons - finding unique and creative ways to combine content and activities to effectively link everything together. One thing supports and reinforces the other - absolutely amazing. Merci beaucoup !

I just had my first lesson with Audrey and immediately booked my next one with her. Audrey is patient, personable and very professional. The lesson itself and the plans discussed for future lessons were tailored around my needs and preferences and also included her recommendations. I was encouraged to speak in French as much as I could, and Audrey was very encouraging. In fact, I was able to speak in French much better than I anticipated. I highly recommend Audrey as a teacher and coach.
