Hello! I'm Elly from General Santos City, Philippines. 🌴 I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and six years of ESL teaching experience, including volunteer work. 👩🏫 I enjoy watching TV series and movies, going to the beach, camping, hiking, and mountain climbing. 🎬🏖️🏕️⛰️ In my free time, I love playing video games and reading books. 🎮📚 Teaching is one of my favorite ways to relax because it allows me to share knowledge and connect with others. 😊 I'm open-minded, fun to talk to, dedicated, and patient. I'm passionate about creating a positive learning environment and inspiring my students to reach their full potential. 🌟我的教學經歷
I have been teaching ESL for six years and hold a TEFL certificate, enhancing my qualifications to teach English. I have taught kids, teenagers, and adults from various backgrounds and proficiency levels during this time. Additionally, I teach Tagalog and Cebuano to students and friends interested in learning these languages.
I genuinely love getting to know my students; it helps me build rapport and create natural connections, making the knowledge exchange smoother. One of my most rewarding experiences was guiding a complete beginner to fluency. Now, they confidently discuss a wide range of topics with me. Teaching is incredibly rewarding yet challenging because each learner has unique needs. I prioritize establishing a strong connection to ensure students feel welcome and comfortable. I go beyond expectations, pouring my heart into teaching to foster natural learning and enjoyment in the process. You can talk with Elly freely about any topic.
She is a very patient listener and speaks very clearly. Corrects me and explain if I say something grammatically wrong, but in a very nice way so you can talk without any stress.
