I am a Native English Speaker with a Northern American accent from the New York State area. Through out life I have lived all over the north and southeastern USA. I currently live in Hawaii. My preference is tropical climates. I've traveled to Europe, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Canada. I have been to most Major cities in The US and almost every state. I enjoy meeting people from around the world. There is a wide range of topics I'm familiar with: music, guitar, travel, off-grid living, photography, promotional marketing, business, finances, philosophy, politics, new technologies, and more. Many of my friends are from other countries so I'm familiar with language barriers and can help you!我的教學經歷
I am a fun, relaxed and friendly teacher.
I teach: Business English, Conversation Practice, Idioms for Professionals and Daily Life, Slang and Grammar. I also can help with TOEFL and IELTS prep and have some great online resources for students who want to practice speaking and answering questions.
I have been a teacher for about 10 years and my first student was actually my younger brother and he wanted me to teach him Guitar. After that, my wife and I opened our own Music Academy and I had my own business as a Private Guitar Teacher and I decided to teach English a few years later because I have fun teaching my foreign friends. I'm in finance and my BA is in Media and Communications. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are fun, relaxed and I have an easy way of explaining something. I like to teach my students how to listen to US accents. I use online resources, links and examples of Daily Life so that my students can relate, have good context, and remember! I want my students to feel comfortable using English, and with me, you'll feel better prepared and more confident to speak on any subject. You can ask me anything about American Culture or English. I've prepared professionals for meetings and job interviews with North American businesses and I've also taught how to swear and curse English speakers for online video games.
