I am a patient and enthusiastic person. I have dedicated my whole life to education in different areas of it. I love language teaching and I am methodic in analysing how teaching and learning processes evolve along different stages of life, an also along the recent history. I love travelling and interacting with people from different countries and, above all, speak different languages with all of them. In that regard, the fact of having competed internationally in canoeing helped me a lot. Amongst others, my favourite hobbies are cinema, photography, literature and sports. I have a long experience as a French Teacher and also as a Teacher of Spanish Language and Literature. I have worked as a Psychopedagogue for many years as well. All this professional background in different areas of education has provided me with the experience to adapt fast to the capacities and needs of students. I personally love facing the challenge of improving students´ skills in a different language so that they can deal with it uninhibitedly. My teaching style is based on each student´s, their skills and personal interests. Depending on those needs, different language skills can be further explored: oral and written comprehension and oral and written expression, so that the student improve day by day. As usual, I had an amazing lesson with Miriam. She is helping me so much with my French. From complete beginner, in only 3 months I've been capable of understanding quite a lot of her speaking and to communicate a bit as well! (unbelievable, as I didn't even know a single word in French) Miriam is also such a kind and warm person which boosts my confidence and creates a very pleasant atmosphere in the lessons!
