I’m happy I met Nere on Italki, she’s a very interesting person, flexible and easy to chat to. My speaking skills has improved a lot since I’ve started to take classes with Nerea.

We had an amazing face-to-face class in Bilbao with a lot of cultural activity !!! We wandered around the streets of the city centre where Nere explained to me the history of some of the nicest buildings, she took me to the traditional food market where we tasted typical Basque pintxos. While walking on the street we did a lot of fun vocabulary exercises by translating the signes, street names, billboards from euskera. We finished at a library where she helped me to some some Basque literature books that are appropriate for my current level to keep improving. Mila esker Nere!!!

I had my first class with Nere last week and it was amazing. I could immediately tell she understood my level really well and knew how to adapt to my goals and the way I learn. After that first class, I was already convinced I wanted to keep taking lessons with her so I signed up for the 15-class package. What I like the most is that she’s not just teaching me Basque. She also explains the concepts and why things are said a certain way, which makes everything much easier to understand and remember. She also uses my own experiences and interests during the lessons, which makes them more interactive and helps me learn faster. She’s doing a great job!! And I’d definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Basque or any other language she teaches.

Nere is a fabulous instructor! I look forward to learning with her. She is kind, bubbly, and very easy to talk with.
