Every lesson with Adriana is a masterclass! She is incredibly well-prepared and so invested in teaching. Today we continued our discussion of the excellent book we are reading, and really delved into the material. We also did grammar exercises. The unique aspect of our grammar study is that the structures are tied to the book as well, and are perfect for my level--for example, indirect speech and the pluscuamperfecto. I am so grateful to Adriana for these carefully crafted lessons, and my motivation to study has never been stronger!

Adriana and I had another rich discussion about the book we are reading. Her thoughtful questions inspire me to think deeply and to challenge myself to use a wider range of vocabulary and grammar than is typical for my Spanish. She is always patient, encouraging, and understanding.

I have been learning Spanish with Adriana for almost two years. She is wonderful. I have learned so much from our conversations together. She has also helped improve my grammar. I chose Adriana because I could understand her as she speaks clear Spanish and I had issues understanding other teachers, at times. We always start with a conversation which is an excellent way to begin the lesson and then we dive into specific areas that I want to focus on and she does a great job of explaining everything. She focuses her attention on areas that you need focus on and her English is sufficient to help you with gaps in your understanding. She is terrific.

Adriana's lesson are the perfect balance of conversation, grammar, and meaty discussion. We are discussing an excellent novel together, and Adriana creates an amazingly thorough lesson guide for each chapter that includes vocabulary, discussion questions, and grammar points/exercises using sentences from the chapter. I've never experienced this quality of lesson preparation or richness of discussion. It's simply fantastic!
