Hello everyone! My name is John Kelly from California in the United States. I have lived in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam for the last 6 years and really enjoy my life here.
I received my bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego in 2007 and then began my career in the banking industry, where I worked for some of the world's largest financial institutions, including J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo Bank. While I enjoyed a certain level of success in the banking industry, my calling was to travel and live abroad and that is what brought me to Vietnam.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy exercising, meditating and reading books on personal development.我的教學經歷
I’m a former IELTS Examiner with IDP and have over 8 years of academic language teaching experience, both in the classroom and online. My focus has been solely on preparing students for the difficult IELTS exam. I’ve worked with students of all levels from all over the world, and I understand exactly what it takes to help you achieve your goals.我的課程內容與教學風格
Each of our sessions will be focused on your weaknesses. You will have the option of booking individual sessions or going with a more structured approach.
If you choose the structured option, I will provide you with writing structures that have been proven to help hundreds of students achieve band 7 and above. In addition, we will have many options for mock speaking tests, where I will provide you with specific feedback on each of the four marking criteria.
We will also have opportunities to discuss listening and reading as well.

Employment Contract - KTDC Group - 2018I have attached an employment contract from 2016-2018 proving that I have experience teaching IELTS to students. The title of my position was English Lecturer, but in the job description it specifies that I taught IELTS.
As a note, this contract is in both Vietnamese and English.

老师的发音非常标准，上课的纠错也都很到位，主要是让我们改进某一方面的小分(比如语法，连贯性)，老师会有一些简单的材料发给你，通过看这些材料能在短时间内通过一定练习改进相应的部分，2个月左右就能有效果，包括写作也是，会给出所有作文种类的框架，同时在具体的修改中帮助你改进语法和一些需要注意的用词细节，很适合有一定基础的同学在短时间内想提高一定分数的同学
