I help business professionals who have been having difficulty interacting with foreign colleagues become more effective oral and written communicators.
I spent a decade working as a packaging specialist for international corporations in various manufacturing industries, including automotive (Toyota), personal care (Alberto-Culver), food (Barilla pasta), & durable goods (Weber grills). As an engineer, I collaborated with people around the world in numerous fields such as accounting, marketing, procurement, law & regulations, & product development.
In 2018, I paid off my student loans and decided to retire from engineering to focus on teaching.

I understand the value of clear and concise communication across the business world. As a language consultant, I’ve coached a myriad of business and medical professionals from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East including engineers, project managers, salespeople, nurses, and even doctors!
Students have complimented me for my passion, professionalism, attention to detail, and the way I guide them. I appreciate it when students can identify improvements and make necessary corrections on their own.

What are your unique hobbies? Knowing what interests you outside of work (even if you’re not an adrenaline junkie, like me) will allow us to have enjoyable well-balanced conversations while achieving specific objectives. For example, we might start a session sharing recent travel experiences before pouring over the details of a technical document or going through a vocabulary expansion exercise.
In my sessions, you’ll tend to focus on productive English communication skills (i.e. speaking & writing). My services are not limited to those mentioned so please feel free to contact me with your specific needs!我的教材

Certified Packaging Professional (CPP) - Institute of Packaging Professionals - 2023In order to get this certificate, you must demonstrate significant industry expertise and experience, typically a minimum of six years working in the field. In my case, I amassed almost a decade of experience. There is also a 150-question multiple-choice exam you have to pass. After passing the exam, you can choose from various options. In my case, I wrote a paper entitled "Legal Considerations for Packaging Professionals".

Amelia ist ein hervorragende Lehrerin. Sie ist witzig, interessiert und sehr gut in ihren Erklärungen und ihrer Form des Unterrichts.
Sie passt sich sehr meinen Bedürfnissen an und ist sehr geduldig mit mir.
Oft reden wir über den Alltag und Besonderheiten der vergangenen Woche. Somit erreichen wir einen deutlich weiteren Wortschatz, als über einen starren Unterricht.
Zum jeweils aktuellem Thema hat sie auch immer diverse Arbeitsblätter, die wir im Unterricht besprechen oder ich als Hausaufgabe schon einmal vorbereiten darf.
