I highly recommend English lessons with Amelia! Her classes are incredibly engaging, and I always look forward to them. My absolute favorite part of our lessons are the exercises with pictures. As a visual learner, I memorize words much faster and more effectively when I can connect them with an image in my head. Amelia has a great approach - during these activities, I describe what I see, form questions about the scenes, and sometimes we even try to come up with new, brilliant idioms that I feel like I should patent! Great lesson as always with Amelia! We covered grammar (turns out "good" and "well" are NOT the same thing), learned that "pay off" and "pay back" are very different, and discovered the idiom: "don't count your chickens before they hatch." I also gifted Amelia a new word: "heaven scratcher." I was trying to say "skyscraper" — but I translated it live from German (Wolkenkratzer) and somewhere between Himmel and scratcher, we ended up somewhere above the clouds. Architecturally questionable. Linguistically unforgettable. I genuinely hope it enters her permanent vocabulary. Making her laugh is honestly one of my favorite parts of these lessons. Highly recommended — patient, sharp, and somehow still smiling after all my German-English translation experiments. Five stars!

Amelia is incredibly professional and responsible. She provided me with many valuable comments on my resume, and the insights she shared have made a significant difference. Now, I feel much more confident in presenting my resume. I truly appreciate all the time and effort she invested in guiding me through the revisions. During the first lesson, I found the experience fantastic. I had plenty of opportunities to express myself and share my work experience. Learning English with Amelia is awesome! In our last sessions, she helped me clear up some serious culinary confusion. I finally learned that if my wife wants to buy chickens (alive!), we should probably build a coop. But if she just wants dinner, she buys chicken (meat). Amelia also taught me the idiom "grinds my gears". For example, it really grinds my gears when Switzerland ties 1-1 with Qatar! I used to think I was a "versatile husband" because I could eat things on the front burner and the back burner at the same time. But when I accidentally tell my wife she is a "couch potato". It would be big mistake! My dinner would be strictly on the back burner. Thanks to Amelia, I also know that if I litter, I have to pay a fine. She is definitely a "Sebastian of all trades" when it comes to teaching. If you want to learn real English and have a good laugh, book a lesson with her! Highly recommended!

I just finished another great lesson with Amelia! Every class is a perfect mix of useful vocabulary and positive energy. In our session on June 3, 2026, I was explaining some complex technical details from my field, like the PFO (power failure option) or why shorter pins prevent sparks. Amelia was amazing at helping me translate these ideas and correct my pronunciation of "sug-JES-chun". We also learned the idiom "take it with a grain of salt", using a funny example about AI. This Friday is the most important day for me—my trial day at a new company. Thanks to Amelia, I am going there with a lot of self-confidence. If everything ends with a success, it will be largely thanks to her. Please keep your fingers crossed tight for me, Amelia! This day can completely change how my whole life looks in the near future.
