I passed the N3 exam thanks to Azumi 先生. I had so many issues outside studies, it was hard to focus but thanks to her I finally passed! Now studying for N2 exam, just having a baby and new job, even if I don’t pass this time I know in the end I will pass thanks to Azumi-先生. Can highly recommend her, she is really a passionate teacher and amazing professional!

I love Azumi-san!!! They are so good at picking up on the nuances of conversation & tailoring their lesson approach to their students' level of knowledge. We've been doing group lessons for about a year now and my Japanese knowledge has truly skyrocketed thanks to their guidance. I recommend them constantly!

Though this is only the first lesson, I have learnt from Azumi Sensei within 30 minutes. She provided very clear lesson objectives and encouraged me to do shadowing with her. She started to correct my pronunciation and had me repeat. I have thoroughly enjoyed this pronunciation-focused class.

When I started taking lessons from Azumi-sensei, I had passed the N1 three years prior and spoke Japanese regularly. My sticking point was my pitch accent and my intonation. I didn't struggle to communicate with others, but I wasn't confident in how I spoke. With Azumi-sensei, I could go back to the basics and improve my pronunciation. Although this most recent lesson was taken half a year after the previous one, I still maintained the improvements Azumi-sensei made to my pronunciation over the last year. This is because Azumi-sensei does a great job of noticing and pointing out mistakes in my speech and creates a lesson summary at the end of every lesson, which I can review at any time. Although I reached out to Azumi-sensei when I was already proficient in the language, I would confidently recommend her to students of ALL levels. She can ensure you build good pronunciation habits early on if you are a beginner, and she can fix your sticking points if you are already proficient.

Azumi Sensei was extremely kind and encouraging throughout my trial lesson. She presented material in an easy-to-understand layout, providing example sentences, structures, grammar points, and more. She was very enthusiastic and supportive during the lesson, helping me to motivate and overcome my nerves. I look forward to our next scheduled lesson!
