We just talked about our day, and it branched into other topics. Whenever I didn't know of a word to express myself, my teacher would tell me and write it down for me so I can make note and practice. Her teaching style is great!

I’ve been learning with Elena on italki from HSK 1 all the way to HSK 4, and I can’t recommend her enough. She is incredibly patient and understanding—especially because I don’t have much time to study outside of class, so our lessons are basically my only study time. She never makes me feel bad about that and is always accommodating to my situation. She’s easy to talk to, open-minded, and genuinely enjoyable to learn with, which has helped me stay consistent and keep progressing. I highly recommend Elena to anyone looking for a patient, flexible, and engaging teacher.
