Hello, everyone! I am Elena. I am from Guangzhou, a city in south China.
My Chinese name is Jiaxian; I am a native speaker of Mandarin and Cantonese.
I have been working as a language school teacher in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English for over five years. I mainly teach international students. In the classroom, I teach the language and share cultural and historical knowledge.我的教學經歷
I already have 7 years of experience in online teaching, with certification to teach Chinese and English to adults and children. Also, I have completed IELTS teacher training courses with a certificate.
When I was in New Zealand for a working holiday a few years ago, I realized that learning their language is always the best way to know more about different cultures. That's why I want to help people who learn about the Chinese language and culture. I used to work in the retail and management industry and enjoy communicating with people. We would have many topics for our conversation, such as travel, business, daily life, etc. I hope my class can make you feel comfortable practicing as much as possible.

脱离英语语境已经四年多了 完全没有语感，能听懂大致意思，但是没办法表达，一些很简单的词语都很难瞬间想起来。和外教对话有些挑战了，Elena的教学更适合我这种情况 会很耐心地帮我回忆单词、表达，我可以不用担心我没办法表达长句子。而且每次也会给我一个对话主题，都是比较商务、日常的，不断强化我如何用英语交谈这些主题。蛮棒的，会继续跟着学习，期待看到自己的变化。
