Eli is a fantastic teacher. I knew barely any Spanish when starting classes with her, but Eli is very welcoming and fits the lessons to meet my goals (a focus on speaking). She makes each class engaging by applying the topics to real life examples which leads to a lot of fun and practical conversations with Eli. It has been around 9 months since I started lessons, and my Spanish skills have drastically improved because of Eli. I tested them in Spain recently, and I was able to get around by myself safely and hold some coversations in Spanish. I'm excited to continue learning as I try to become fluent. Overall, I definitely recommend Eli, 10/10!

I have been taking classes with Eli for a year now. She is very polite, friendly, and will adjust her classes to both your levels and your goals. She provides learning material and does a great job of integrating those topics into conversation practice, keeping it fun and practical. My speaking, which has been my main goal, has improved a lot compared to when we first started together. She has a lot of hobbies and interests which helps make for interesting conversation and she also takes a genuine interest in you. I can't recommend her enough and I look forward to another year of learning and improving!

I have been taking weekly lessons from Eli for the last couple of years, and have enjoyed them very much. They have been a mix of fun and challenging exercises using her materials, as well as more free flowing conversation practice. For me, having the opportunity to speak with and learn from an excellent teacher and native speaker has been invaluable. I have been to Mexico twice now since I started with Eli and I know my experience was much better because of my study with her. Eli is always patient, kind, helpful, and interesting to talk to. I can recommend her without reservation and am looking forward to our continuing lessons!

This was just a trial but Eli was friendly and spoke slow enough for me to understand.
