¡Hola! I’m Paula, a Colombian Spanish teacher specializing in foundational writing and speaking for Spanish/English and Spanish/Portuguese learners. With an ELE certification and a musician’s ear for language, I blend grammar with cultural immersion,think folklore, music, and travel stories from across South America. Whether you’re starting out or polishing fluency, our lessons will be as vibrant and dynamic as the cultures we explore. Let’s make every word count! As an educator with experience in adult learning, I know your time is precious and you want a learning experience that truly makes a difference. My philosophy is centered on partnership: I am here to guide you on your path to success by respecting your pace and leveraging your existing knowledge. I had a great trial lesson with Paula. She was patient and clear, and took the time to get to know what I want from classes. I’m a beginner at speaking and she corrected my grammar via message when I made mistakes, which worked well. The lesson was also fun! I recommend this teacher 👍

Paula is attentive to the students needs and moves at a pace which is both challenging enough for breakthroughs in learning, but not too quick you feel you’re being left behind. She also puts a lot of effort in to soaking activities after each lesson which I really appreciate. Can’t recommend her enough!

It seems to me that the teacher moved very rapidly into am unknown material, w/o preparing me for it. She wasn't able to convey (to me) what exactly she is expecting me to do. In addition, I believe she was a bit rude, and impatient.
