До занятий с Мейсоном я больше года пытался заниматься самостоятельно, изучая каналы на ютубе и используя приложения вроде Elsa. Однако именно занятия с Мейсоном позволили мне значительно улучшить мое произношение. Во-первых, Мейсон очень хорошо ориентируется в типичных ошибках русскоговорящих и может доходчиво их объяснить их как через теорию, так и через практику. Во-вторых, Мейсон дает множество подводящих упражнений для особо проблемных звуков, так что вы не будете биться как рыба об лед и сможете постепенно освоить сложные звуки, у которых нет близких аналогов в русском языке. В-третьих, Мейсон довольно гибок в своих занятиях, вы можете разбрать любую интересующую вас тему, разнообразить уроки различными видео и текстами на ваш вкус. Наконец, я рекомендую занятия с Мейсоном тем, кому важен результат. Если вы готовы регулярно заниматься, то вы очень быстро увидите эффект от занятий.

特别享受Mason老师的课程，在愉快的课程中不知不觉就提高了发音的水平，现在看美剧都能get到他们的发音细节了，经过不断的练习，假以时日成为national不是问题。Mason让我对学习英语有很大的进步和转变，最大的转变就是让我觉得学习英语是一种享受，而不是当作一个任务.

I've taken 5 lessons with Mason so far, and I highly recommend him. He has his own teaching approach and comes prepared with his own materials. Across our lessons, he has focused on vowel pronunciation, stress, linking words, and vowel reduction. He gives great suggestions on how to practice and improve these skills — including shadowing and fun exercises, like imitating an ambulance siren to practice stress. He's also flexible about adjusting the pace of the class to fit my needs. One thing I found especially intriguing is how he weaves his knowledge of music into his teaching. He's excellent at explaining mouth position and resonance for vowel pronunciation. After just a few lessons, I can already distinguish between sounds I previously couldn't tell apart (e.g., "feet" vs. "fit"). On top of all that, his classes are never boring — I'm often amused by his dry, sarcastic humor.

I have been practicing with Mason for months now. He opened up to me a world of things in American English Pronunciation that I couldn't imagine. I am 100% satisfied with our constant work ! Mason is the best teacher ever, enlightning, clear, dedicated and fun. He is always available to help you out and is focused on your weaknessess. I have been improving day by day thanks to our classess, that cover all the most important pronunciation aspects. My conversational skills and my accent have experienced a great improvement. I can't wait for more lessons together ;)

Even though I haven't had a lot of lessons with Mason, I want to share my experience. Mason doesn't expect you to repeat the sound or the word as it should be after him or right after the explanation, but he gives practices and exercises that make you say the sound yourself without even trying to say the target sound. His explanations and corrections are detailed, but not too excessive. They’re only relevant. He’s also aware of the struggles of non-native-English speakers, and even if those are the struggles of people whose native language sounds are completely different. He notices what you're doing wrong and leads you. I find practicing with him really encouraging. I like the homework practice he gives that I can do by myself. After only 1 lesson and a week of practice on my own (2-3 times) I hear a huge difference between 2 similar sounds and I hear myself saying these two completely different too. That's only a start, but I truly believe in my success of sounding adequate/great!
