My name is Angela, I’m Italian from Bologna, where I graduated in Italian Studies. I have lived in Greece for many years and I teach Italian as a Foreign Language in private schools. I speak French and a bit of English. I love contemporary fiction, writing, and walking — all of which inspire my teaching.
I work with teenagers preparing for certifications and adults who want to learn Italian quickly for travel or communication. My lessons are practical, progressive, and personalized, without unnecessary grammar. I adapt to each student’s rhythm and use authentic materials to make the language meaningful and enjoyable.

I teach the Italian language especially to teenagers who want to obtain certifications up to advanced levels and to adults who intend to acquire in a short time, with accelerated courses, knowledge on the language in order to travel and communicate with a minimum of autonomy in Italy.Based on the needs of the student, I organize lessons at progressive learning of the language without weighing it down with too many grammatical references. I focus my attention on the student's times and ways of learning to find an empathic mode. I am convinced that you learn easily and better by stimulating the student's curiosity.

LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION - UNIVERSITA' PER STRANIERI DI SIENA - 2024The DITALS Level I Certification certifies a good general competence in teaching Italian to foreigners, integrated with a specific competence in relation to a particular profile of recipients (adults and the elderly, in my case). The DITALS Level I Certification can be classified in level 2.2 of the EPG grid.

DITALS BASE CERTIFICATION - UNIVERSITA' PER STRANIERI DI SIENA - 2023The DITALS BASIC Certification, intended especially for teachers whose mother tongue is not Italian and in any case aimed at all those who are about to take on the role of teacher of Italian as a second language (L2), certifies an initial competence in teaching Italian to foreigners. Following a comparison between the requirements required to access the exam and the certified skills, the DITALS BASIC Certification can be classified in level 1.2 of the EPG grid.

I wholeheartedly recommend Angela to everyone who wants to learn Italian. She’s knowledgeable, passionate, energetic, extremely helpful, and supremely accommodating. I especially like the fact that Angela comes prepared for every single lesson and constantly surprises me with the variety of topics and exercises, which help me continuously with my progress. What’s equally important is that Angela is an excellent motivator, and also a very sensible person. She knows exactly when to continue pressing on a specific topic, or when it is time to switch gears.
