As someone who has studied Japanese with multiple teachers over Italki, I can confidently say that ショウヨウ Sensei stands out as one of the best. From the very first lesson, it was clear that ショウヨウ Sensei possesses a deep understanding of both the language and how to teach it effectively to students of all levels. ショウヨウ Sensei is an exceptional Japanese teacher who makes learning the language a truly enjoyable and enriching experience. His expertise, patience, and personalized approach to teaching make him an ideal choice for anyone looking to learn Japanese. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I would warmly recommend Hsiao Yang as both a Japanese and Chinese teacher. The lessons are fun and fly past. Hsiao Yang has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and shares interesting insights and anecdotes. Moreover, Hsiao Yang is an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher. I feel comfortable speaking with him in both languages, even though I am just at A2 level.
