My name is Jess and I come from the north of England. After living in London for the past 10 years, I have moved to Berlin - and I love it!
In January 2020, I trained as a TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
In 2011, I trained as an actor and have been acting and directing since 2014.
Whilst training, I did a lot of work on voice training, accents and phonetics.我的教學經歷
I believe it is important to feel comfortable when learning a new language. I have been learning to speak German for the last year - so I completely understand how difficult and nerve-wracking it can be!
This has helped me become a better teacher, as I can see what methods work for me when learning and can then use them in my English lessons.
I am also skilled at noticing pronunciation difficulties and finding methods for students to pronounce these with more ease, as well as helping students to develop a more natural sounding accent when speaking English.
I believe I am friendly and make people feel at ease with encouragement and positive reinforcement. 我的課程內容與教學風格

My main aim is to make learning fun and enjoyable. I believe you learn something much quicker when it is taught in an interesting way and it is something you feel excited to learn.
I offer lessons based around:

I can supply reading material and writing exercises, such as:
- Grammatical exercises

- Emails/Letters

- Short stories
