I have a degree in English, Portuguese, and Translation Studies from UFRGS, in Brazil, and I have been teaching English and Portuguese for the past nine years, in both schools and to private students. My students have ages that go from little infants up to adults, with several different levels of language knowledge and goals.

I work with structured lessons, so you can notice your own improvement. When we have our first lesson, we will go through your goals and build a plan together for your classes. If you choose conversation lessons, we will focus on discussing various topics orally. If you choose traditional lessons, we will develop all of your skills.

Proof of employement - CCAA, Discovery, Yazigi - 2014I have uploaded here both a proof of employement from my 'Carteira de trabalho', which is a BR official document that lists places where I have worked in. You will see they are all English/Bilingual schools or education centers in Brazil. In addition to that, based on a suggestion by someone from the Italki Team, that I should also add my own Kids lessons through Italki, as I have taught over 800 kids lessons as a teacher in the platform since 2020.

Just finished the hundredth class with Amanda! She always comes up with new topics, and encourages you to speak a lot. From Brazilian artists, to history, over ecological and political topics, I learned so much about Brazil in these classes. Amanda always manages to keep it interesting and fun, which makes learning easy.
